Today was a historic day for Charleville and District RFC as we held out first Primary Schools Blitz. We welcomed 250 kids from Dromina, Milford, Charleville, Ballyhea and Newtownshandrum. By all accounts everyone had an enjoyable day and left with huge smiles asking when is the next one scheduled for! We're sure some future stars played on our hallowed turf today. It was a fantastic day of rugby. All the children were a credit to their schools, families and communities.

Today's Blitz wouldn't have happened without our CCRO Aidan Sheehan who has been working with the schools through the year. Ray Gadsden Munster Rugby Development Officer and his team of coaches who were on hand to ensure the day went off without any hitch. Thank you.

Special thanks has to go our club members who took time out of their day jobs to help make the day so successful and for staying on afterwards to clean the Club house and provided refreshments.

Our mini girls and boys are thriving at the moment and are growing from strength to strength. We are always looking for girls and boys to join us. We are also always looking out for coaches to support our future vision. No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
