The new rugby season has arrived! As the first competitive matches take place this weekend and players of all ages come back fully to training, YOUR club wants to welcome you to what is a very special season for Charleville & District RFC.

The club celebrates 100 years of its existence, playing the sport we love, building memories and friendships within the community and far beyond.

We plan to continue doing this for many decades to come and want to thank all of those now, and in the past, that have supported the club in the multitude of ways that are too numerous to mention.

The Committee has ambitious plans for the growth and development of the club. You will see that the first stages of these plans are already happening with the work done to the pitches over the past couple of seasons and the new match standard modern lighting system that is being installed right now. 

There are many other improvements and exciting projects to come and we welcome your continued support in whatever capacity you can offer it to help make these plans a reality.

Part of our development and growth also includes always seeking to raise the standards of what we do and how we do it. This includes how we play, but also how we train, how we coach, how we run our club and how we make sure that Charleville & District RFC is the most accessible, friendly and inviting force for good in the community we can be. 

The IRFU and Munster Rugby are increasingly conscious of the need to protect and uphold the values of our game defined by the Spirit of Rugby Charter,  - Respect, Integrity, Inclusivity, Fun, and Excellence. Charleville & District RFC is totally committed to abiding by these values, as seen in the Codes of Conduct all new and renewing members are bound by from this season.

It is essential in our Centenary year that we collectively and individually take responsibility to live the values of our sport and to ensure that everything we do is in accordance with Regulations.
